Description
Antique Soft Metal Filigree Doll Carriage with rare silk covered insert and baby.  Doll is attached to insert with string, never removed.    All Bisque Frozen Charlotte with wire jointed arms.  Dressed in ecru lace gown.  Doll has flat top hair style, parted at the center, and rosy cheeks, with a pleasant smile on her tiny red lips.    We cannot see markings without removing doll - attributed to Germany.
Carriage measures 3  3/8" long including the handle.  It is 1 5/8"  wide at the back wheels, and approximately 2  7/8" tall at the handle.  Condition is generally good.  Carriage and wheels have minor bends, common on these soft metal items, and finish has darkened on wheels.  One section of three spokes is loose from center of one wheel, possibly going to the time of manufacture.  Pink Silk is breaking down a bit from age, and discolored on back from old glue.  Doll has a small spot on the front of one leg.  Please carefully examine pictures for condition.
