    Description

    Cat with a Ball Wind-Up Tin Toy "Da Gun Mao"
    Probably made in the 1970s, this interesting kitty takes right off when wound up with the key.  Kitty's features are mostly flat and painted on, and he shows no signs of wear in logical places like underneath or on corners.  He has a wire tail and chases a colorful metal ball held between his front paws
    No logo appears on the toy, but there is an oval paper "Made in China" sticker on one side
    Colorful box has a much fluffier cat pictured, with some interesting Chinese and "Da Gun Mao".  Lid and brown cardboard base box are in good shape with some red writing on bottom
    Kitty is about 4" long by 3" t and 1 1/2" w
    Box measures 4 1/4" by 3" by 1 3/4"
    I am listing other old mechanical toys and
