This toy is from a collector's treasure chest!
It
has only been out of the box to test it
using the original key (which is actually a crank).

Length is about 5.75”, width is 3.25", height is 2.25" and color is silver
with a black #7 on the side

From what I've read, this toy was made in Germany and
is a
S
chuco reproduction
of the model they made in the 1950's,
using the same dies and tools they used in producing the original
s.
I
t  has a simple clockwork drive with a single speed in the forward direction. The car has a rubber roller on the bottom that acts as the brake when you push down on the car. The tires are designed to be removable and the spokes are red on one side and blue on the other. The center caps screw off with the wrench that is in the bag under the display, along with several other tools, the crank (key), and vehicle lift for use when you
wan
t to remove the wheels.
Also included are the original instruction sheet written in German and with illustrations.
The box is in good condition with some minor shelf wear, plus there is a tear on the surface on one of the end flaps. Please see last photo.
