Presented for your consideration is this very rare antique Knights Templar train brochure (or booklet). It is titled, Special Trains: Detroit to Denver and Yellowstone Park and Return, and was put out by the #1 Knights Templar Detroit Commandery. In the front of the booklet the Eminent Commander and the Captain General are pictures, each on their own individual pages. The booklet contains information on the train trip from Detroit to Denver that the Knights Templar was taking in the year 1913. It contains the schedule, a description of the train, price, and notable scenes around Denver. In the back of the book is a map of the business district of Denver and a group photo of members of the Knights Templar. It is finished with a grey wrap cover with a string binding. Top and bottom border on the pages is done in gold gilt. The front cover shows a gold embossed Knights Templar insignia against a red background. The back reads "Burlington Route. Links East and West and Does it Best." All pages appear to be intact and the binding is in excellent condition. Guaranteed to be old and all original. Would make a great addition to any train or Knights Templar memorabilia collection!
Some light wear and staining is on the front cover. Light cover edge wear. No rips or tears. Free of water damage. Overall in VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT condition. Please refer to the photos for the absolute best details.
