EXCELLENT Collectible VINTAGE Navajo TWO GREY HILLS Rug WEAVING 1970

Description

Another wonderful thing out of my parent
s collection, and recently out of storage.
Lovely, Two Grey Hills Weaving, dating to around 1970. It measures 39 1/2” x 29”, and  has a great, soft, very tight weave, out of hand-spun wool. Colors are gray, cream, black and two shades of brown. A stunning center element, surrounded by a stepped border. It retains all four original tassels, lays flat, is symmetrical, and has no odors. Photographed in natural light, (both sides shown), as well as inside, and last photo shows it on the wall.
Condition is excellent vintage and very collectible, with no damage or moth bites. It has a 1/2” area on one side, where the side warp is missing (shown), but an issue. A lovely weaving for the wall or over the back of a couch, coming from a smoke free environment.
