Coalport Hand Painted Floral Pompadour Pink & Gold Coffee Cup & Saucer C.1860s C
Nice bone china ring handle coffee cup and saucer. Decorated with hand painted pink roses and other flowers in pink, purple, blue, yellow, and orange. Has a pompadour pink border with gold scrollwork designs. Gold gilding along the edge. There are flowers painted on the inside of the cup as well and a gold scallop and diamond pattern along the inside of the lip of the cup. Marked with the pattern number 4 380. Attributed to Coalport. Circa 1860s.
Has some minor crazing around the foot rim of the cup, and some wear to the gilding and wear consistent with age and use, but otherwise good condition.
The cup measures approximately 3 5/8 inches wide including the handle x 2 1/2 inches tall.
The saucer measures approximately 5 5/8 inches wide.
This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
