Coalport England Bone China Dinner Set for 8 - 40 Pieces - "Indian Tree"
A lovely Coalport England bone china set of dishes for 8 (40 pieces in total) in the "Indian Tree" pattern. The set has a white background and is decorated with colourful flowers in pink, blue, yellow and has green leaves and brown branches. There are also gold accents on the rims.
The set consists of:
8 dinner plates - 10 1/4 inches in diameter
8 salad / dessert plates - 8 7/8 inches in diameter
8 bread and butter plates - 6 3/4 inches in diameter
8 cups - 5 inches wide from edge to handle x 2 3/4 inches high at the handle
8 saucers - 6 inches in diameter
Total: 40 pieces
The underside shows the maker's mark and reads, in green ink "Made in England. Coalport. A.D.1750". In addition, in black ink, is written "Original Engraving. "Indian Tree" Period 1801."
The set is in very good condition.
